Lord of War opening title
The lord of War opening title keeps the audience in suspence. The title shows a bullet travelling the arms factory to the guerilla rebels in Africa. The title does look a bit confusing at start, because all we see is a bullet packed travelling around the world and then all time the crate oepned it was tossed again with another crate full of ammunition. When the crate opened the bullet didn't go out and hit anybody, but as soon as it reached Africa, the bullet hit a child that was standing there. This shows that the bullet was aimed at a specific person. At the start of the sequence we get the impression that the movie is a war film because of the crates full of ammunition.

Opening Sequence: Resident Evil The Extinction
Resident evil the extinction is a 2007 science fiction action horror film also categorized as a doomsday and zombie film, and is the third installment in the series of film adaptations based on the Capcom survival horror series Resident Evil. The films starts showing a face of alice (Milla Jovovich) waking at the mansion, in a scene that is almost identical to the one in Resident Evil. Alice moves through obstacles including the laser room seen in the first film, though she is eventually killed by an Umbrella weapons system. Her dead body is taken by three scientists, including Dr. Isaacs (Iain Glen), and dumped into a pit outside the Umbrella facility. The pit is shown to be filled with numerous Alice Clones. The camera zooms out from the facilities main entrance (the remaining facility being underground) and shows hundreds of zombies trying to enter the facility, which is surrounded by barbed wire fence.
In the movie alice uses different types of weapons such as handguns/Shotguns/Machine guns/Knives/Flame thrower/Crossbow/Dynamite: Carried and/or used to wound or kill zombies and humans and/or cause property damage. See "Violence" for details.
The costume worn by Alice (Milla Jovovich) in the 2007 action horror film Resident Evil: Extinction. This style of costume can be seen throughout the film worn by the lonely survivor of the T-Virus. The costume consists of a pair of tan suede lace up shorts (labelled ‘Alice’), a brown sleeveless shirt with popper buttons which is attached to a pair of brown leggings, a beige vest, a pair of brown fingerless gloves, pair of brown leather boots and the canvas webbing and holsters seen around the actresses waist and attached to her thighs (labelled ‘Alice Stunt’ and ‘Alice Milla’), included is the digital watch which can be seen hanging from the belt in the film. Also included are a flowered scarf and the plastic wire bracelet given to her by K-Mart (Spencer Locke) when they first meet and K-mart explains her name.
RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION comes an aggressively mixed Dolby Digital 5.1 channel soundtrack. All of the discrete channels are fully engaged during the numerous action sequences. The bass channel is deep and ratchets up the action. In the movie there were quite alot of camera angles used. The Director used angles like high angle shot, two shot, low angle shots. The director used a lot of angles some were used to make the movie more scraier.

The change in scenery of Resident Evil: Extinction is refreshing and different, with most of the film taking place out west in the desert. Being surrounded by zombies in a desolate sandy wasteland under the bright sun is a new terror that works surprisingly well. This film is a shocking contrast to prior zombie films it’s more reminiscent of “The Road Warrior than Dawn of the Dead. Mulcahy knows how to scare his audience in this new environment, whether investigating abandoned gas stations and motels or having virus-infected birds circling overhead.

The opening sequence introduced us to the because if someone is watching the movies for the first time they wouldnt know what its all about,so the director used "bloody zombies".
Frank Miller's Sin City; Opening Title Sequence
I like this title sequence because it is quite easy to know and capture where it was set, what the whole story is about, unlike the James bond Opening sequence that was shot in London, you see him jumping everywhere and things falling apart, movies like that are complicated and you just dont know what is going on and it suddenly makes your mind have to start working hard to be able to understand the movie. I don't really like movies where you have to use your brains to watch, i like watching something that is bang to the point .At the start of the Sequence you see New York skyscrappers, the audience suddenly know where the movie set, the screen suddenly goes into birdseye view, of the building and then the title of the movie spells out , with cast names , and the you get cartoon charaters.

Stagering GCSE results by year 11's of Blackheath Bluecoat C of E School. Looking back the years of blackheath bluecoat, the GCSE results were not so good and infact they were appauling.
For the past 3years there's been improvements in GCSE results and not only GCSE results but also pupils punctuality, attendance, attitude to learning has improved to such an extent that keystage 3, 4 and post sixteen students of Blackheath Bluecoat are passing their exams.
This makes the school stand out and known as one of the best and improving shcool in Greenwich. I myself studied at Blackheath Bluecoat since the age of 11, and looking back now I have to say that it has really improved, not only accademically but the school itself.
When I started Blackheath Bluecoat, the food at the canteen wasn't that health, there was fizzy drinks such as doctor pepper, food as burgers, chips, chocolate doughnut, KP crisps. That was not healthy eating at all but now they have food that are very healthy and enjoyable at the same time.
The resources the school had was so good, computers didn't work, you sometimes had to share computers in a lesson, kids played games on computers instead of getting work done and it was complete disaster. The school has tackled that issue and bought new computers and laptops to help student with their work and so on.
I have to say i am proud of been an ambassador of Blackheath Bluecoat Church of England school and very proud of the results the teachers help students get. I believe that as a student you have a job and responsibility. Its not only the teachers job that he/she teach you but also you learn the manners and you learn how to face the world, because very soon you will be on your own, and it will be you against the world.
So as you are growing and start getting to post 16 you sort of matture and start to realise that the opportunity you have will not always last, so you should make the most of it and do not waste time.
I am enjoying education at Blackheath Bluecoat School.
