The costume worn by Alice (Milla Jovovich) in the 2007 action horror film Resident Evil: Extinction. This style of costume can be seen throughout the film worn by the lonely survivor of the T-Virus. The costume consists of a pair of tan suede lace up shorts (labelled ‘Alice’), a brown sleeveless shirt with popper buttons which is attached to a pair of brown leggings, a beige vest, a pair of brown fingerless gloves, pair of brown leather boots and the canvas webbing and holsters seen around the actresses waist and attached to her thighs (labelled ‘Alice Stunt’ and ‘Alice Milla’), included is the digital watch which can be seen hanging from the belt in the film. Also included are a flowered scarf and the plastic wire bracelet given to her by K-Mart (Spencer Locke) when they first meet and K-mart explains her name.
The change in scenery of Resident Evil: Extinction is refreshing and different, with most of the film taking place out west in the desert. Being surrounded by zombies in a desolate sandy wasteland under the bright sun is a new terror that works surprisingly well. This film is a shocking contrast to prior zombie films it’s more reminiscent of “The Road Warrior than Dawn of the Dead. Mulcahy knows how to scare his audience in this new environment, whether investigating abandoned gas stations and motels or having virus-infected birds circling overhead.
RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION comes an aggressively mixed Dolby Digital 5.1 channel soundtrack. All of the discrete channels are fully engaged during the numerous action sequences. The bass channel is deep and ratchets up the action. In the movie there were quite alot of camera angles used. The Director used angles like high angle shot, two shot, low angle shots. The director used a lot of angles some were used to make the movie more scraier.
The opening sequence introduced us to the because if someone is watching the movies for the first time they wouldnt know what its all about,so the director used "bloody zombies".
